My poor, poor, sad and neglected blog! I cannot believe how long it has been since I have posted here! Shame on me! Is anyone still out there? I really need to get back into my groove here; I miss writing here terribly! Now that this semester is over (although I am taking classes over the summer), I hope to be more active in both posting on my blog and commenting on others. Okay, here I go!

Photography Challenge: Days 2,3 & 4…
I swear it was not my fault that I missed so many challenge days! Our internet was down and we just got it fixed today, But I have been keeping up with the actual taking of pictures, so I will post them all at once! Hehe

This was an easy picture to take, since I don’t have much jewelery to choose from. One piece that I do wear most often is my rainbow pendent. I really like to wear this necklace because it shows pride, but isn’t over-the-top, look-at-me, flashy.

While I was out grocery shopping I was thinking about what I could take a picture of for today’s theme. Luckily when I got home my fabulous furbabies, Jury and Ruka, had decided to surprise me and create their own response to today’s challenge. Here is Jury and Ruka’s ::scattered:: picture:

4/31 ::where I slept::
Okay this picture is not of where I slept because I was at work from 8pm (Saturday evening) until 12 noon(this morning) That’s 16 hours people and I still haven’t slept! So instead here is a picture of where I will be sleeping in just a few short moments.

So there you have it and now I’m officially caught up! Phew! I detest being behind, especially something that I really look forward to. Now I am going to collapse on my bed and probably immediately fall asleep. Night night 
Self Portraits and Birthdays, Yay!
In order to ease my jumbled mind from all things baby and ttc, I have decided to take part in a photo challenge thanks to my new bloggy friend Kara (I love making new bloggy friends)
While sitting in the library during my break between classes, I was trying to be good and study for a midterm that I had to take about an hour later. I’ve never had to study before, so my tolerance for spending long spans of time trying to study is very low. My mind wanders so easily. I needed to do something else before I clawed my eyes out (not literally since I do enjoy my vision). Naturally I decide to waste some time and take my self-portrait (DUH!! Because what else would I do in a three-story library with a midterm looming in my near future?!?!) So here’s the result and I even put some pink flowers around as a border. So pretty!
On another note, it is my boy’s birthday today!!! I can’t believe he is three years old already! We made him his sugar cookies of course (they’re his favorite!) and we sang to him. He was thrilled to be able to wear his birthday outfit and he proudly pranced around showing it off.
Yes, he loves pink. He’d wear a rainbow collar with Swarovski crystals if I bought him one
Well it’s time for bed! Another midterm tomorrow and then my 14 hour work night (yuck) and then 16 hours the next night (double yuck)! I need my beauty rest, haha

Finally the world has wised up and Meryl Streep has won another Oscar!!!! She looked like a delicious, golden Goddess and well… I could go on and on, gushing about how much I love her and how stunning and brilliant I think she is, however it is very late and I have been awake for over 24 hours now so I’m bordering on delirious! I just had to quick post about this wonderous moment! (Again, if you’re not getting the insane part…..here is a fine example, haha). Congratulations Meryl! I Love You and You Are BEYOND AMAZING!!!

V-Day escapades….
….or Wow! Are we odd or what?!
Well it’s a few days late, but I’ve been a rather busy girl.
Most celebrate Valentine’s Day with flowers and candy, a romantic dinner, or something of the like. How did we spend our day, you ask? Well in true delightfully insane fashion, we went and did something….well that would be considered a little strange by most people’s standards. This Valentine’s Day, T and I packed up a little picnic lunch, drove into the mountains close to our house to a little secluded area we found and had a picnic by a creek. No cards, no flowers, no chocolates. Just us. Before you say “Aww how sweet”, let me just inform you that we live in Northeastern Pennsylvania, it is the month of February, the temperature was probably close to 35 degrees and we willingly sat outside by a semi-frozen body of water and had a picnic! Yes we are strange and unusual, but we LOVED it! We ate our lunch and then had a little creekside adventure. I feel like the luckiest person in the world to be able to have such a wonderful (and equally eccentric) woman to share my life with! I mean come on, how often do you find someone who is willing to spend a few hours with you out in the wilderness jumping on rocks through a creek and daring to taste chunks of creek ice?! Yep, I’m a lucky girl! I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine’s Day no matter how you spent it. And let’s remember that everyday, not just Valentine’s Day, is a day to spend time with those you love!

Snow Puppies!!!
Well today it finally happened. Our backyard was (and is) finally covered with thick, luscious, powdery white snow! We’ve waited for this for a long time; since we haven’t had snow covering the ground since that weird snow storm in October. Needless to say Jury and Ruka were so excited to finally be able to frolic and play in the snow! This is their favorite time of year and they would gladly stay outside for hours if we would let them. Even Loki was watching the snow fall from his comfy spot on the windowsill; sadly I missed that picture opportunity. So of course I had to take lots and lots of pictures of our snow covered furbabies. These guys are two crazy German Shepherds :-)
